How to Help

Families First believes in caring for the health and well-being of everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. No one should ever be faced with making the decision of putting food on the table OR going to see the doctor. Yet all too often this is the case.

We serve 6,400 of our Seacoast neighbors with health care and family programs. Of the people who come to Families First for health care, about one-quarter are homeless, one-fifth are uninsured, and nearly all are from low-income households. We provide high quality care and treat the whole person.

When you support Families First, you are helping your neighbors get the health care and family support they need. Read their stories here.

I came to Families First because I had a horrendous toothache. The dentist took care of me right away. I qualified for the sliding scale. I have been cared for very well for maybe 5 or 6 years now and making an appointment is quick and easy. No stress to see my doctor, in fact I look forward to appointments and getting better. –Richard Young
