Feeling “stressed out” can impact children’s self-esteem, academic functioning, social relationships, and family life. This talk will provide you with an understanding of how anxiety impacts children and adolescents and practical ways to improve coping skills.
Dr. Laura Rubin will address the following key points:
1) Identify signs of stress/anxiety in your child
2) Learn strategies for helping to decrease your child’s stress/anxiety
3) Become more aware of how parent stress contributes to child stress
Dr. Rubin is a neuropsychologist and owner of the Portsmouth Neuropsychology Center.
