Covid Testing

Families First provides COVID tests for our patients who are having COVID symptoms and/or have been directly exposed to someone who was confirmed COVID-positive. We do NOT offer walk-in testing; please call us to make an appointment. Other resources for COVID testing in New Hampshire are found here.

Before You Come to the Health Center

The coronavirus spreads very easily. If you have a scheduled appointment but are experiencing Covid symptoms or risk factors, please stay outside or in your car and call (603) 766-1797 to let us know you are here. You will still be seen, but we may need to have you enter through a different door. Symptoms and risk factors include:

  • Contact with someone with a confirmed or strongly suspected case of COVID
  • Possible COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.

Calling ahead will allow us to plan for your arrival and evaluation in a safe and private way. When you call, we will ask you about your symptoms and exposure. If it seems unlikely that you have COVID-19, we will schedule your appointment as usual. If we think you may have COVID-19 we will work with you on a plan for your care and possible testing.
