This class will be ideal for parents of preschool and elementary school children. Strong emotions can confuse and overwhelm our children, and teaching them skills to manage their emotions is an important task of parenting. In this two-part series, parents will explore hands-on activities to help children understand their emotions and triggers—and use strategies to self-soothe and make positive choices. A developmental therapist from the Children's Rehab Center of Portsmouth Regional Hospital comes to Babytime once a month to talk about infants' motor, social/emotional, language and brain development. IEP: Putting it All Together
