Families First Health & Support Center offers several dental programs to meet the needs of different segments of the community:

Famlies First Dental Center: On-site care, open to all children, teens, seniors (65+) and veterans living in Seacoast New Hampshire or Southern Maine, and to other adults if they live in Portsmouth and/or use Familes First for primary caremobile health care or home visiting.Also open to certain other groups. Early-Childhood Dental Program: For children ages birth to three. Learn more

Seacoast Healthy Grins: Delivering oral health education, screenings, cleanings and dental referrals to children in local elementary schools and preschools. Learn more

Mobile Dental Clinics
These three sites provide a variety of services, including screenings, hygiene/cleaning appointments, fillings, extractions, x-rays and relief of pain or infection. Exact services vary among the sites and according to the patient's situation. Please note eligibility criteria for using each site.

  • Salvation Army, 10 Olde Farm Lane, Rochester
    Mondays, beginning at 2 p.m. (dentist)
    For adults in an unstable or temporary housing situation
  • Cross Roads House, 600 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth
    Thursdays, beginning at 8:30 a.m. (dentist and hygienist)
    For adults in an unstable or temporary housing situation
  • St. Vincent de Paul Society, 53 Lincoln Street, Exeter
    Thursdays, by appointment (hygienist)
    Fridays, beginning at 9:30 a.m. (dentist)
    Dentist services are for adults who meet income-eligibility guidelines and live in New Hampshire or Maine. Hygiene services are for anyone who has used any Families First dental services. For more information, call Families First at (603) 422-8208 (press 3) or St. Vincent at (603) 772-9922.
