• Where They Live: Portsmouth: 35% … Hampton & Seabrook: 16% ... Other Rockingham County: 23% … Strafford Cty: 19% … Maine: 8%
Socioeconomic Status, Health Center Patients: 63% live below the federal poverty guideline (i.e., $19,090 or less for a family of three); another 31% live below 200% of the poverty level.
Socioeconomic Status, Family Center Clients: Sixty-one percent had incomes in the very-low, low or moderate range.
Insurance Status, Health Center Patients: 55% were uninsured and used our sliding fee scale … 30% had Medicaid … 7% had Medicare … 8% had private health insurance.

Current Agency Budget: $4,600,445
• 85% of expenditures support direct services to clients.

A GROWING DEMAND FOR SERVICES
Over the past five years (FY07 to FY12), Families First saw increases of:
• 66% in medical visits to Health Care for the Homeless sites
• 63% in dental patients
• 59% in patients at or below poverty level
• 43% in uninsured patients
• 39% in Health Center visits (medical, dental, counseling, education, social work)
